Educational excursions : Orienting the values of application based learning

Educational Tours enable students to take an active part in the communities in which they live, thereby encouraging responsible citizenship. These are used as an extension to the classroom learning experience. Students learn through observation and direct experience while enjoying a fun-filled day with their friends. This helps them to relate to, and to understand the subjects better than when they learn the same in the classrooms.

Carefully planned visits and educational tours are organized for the benefit of students to develop greater awareness of their interdependence with the environment so that they understand and accept their responsibilities.

Activities : Inspiring and skill developing

The activities play a very important part in the development of a student's creative abilities and skill in fine arts and crafts. The boys participate in these activities according to their aptitude. Besides fine arts, music and wood craft, there are several Hobby Clubs for the students to join. All students are expected to take part in one or more of these activities. Large numbers of literary activities such as debate, declamations, dramatics, seminar, symposium etc., are also held regularly throughout the year. By providing children with activities that match their developmental needs and abilities, learning occurs easily and naturally, helping to blossom the innate talent of the children.
